Yes, true. It could always be worse. I also long for those moments just after my son was born and I loved him like I thought my heart would explode. I had never felt that way before. Combined with this tremendous humbled feeling (as I was so ignorant) I was like a child and finally a woman all at once and those first few months were so joyful. Not that they still aren't with him, but the first two to three months as a first time parent were without measure.... I totally AGREE!!!! I nursed 4 of my 5 babies and those moments were precious. OMG. I miss that and would have had 100 babies if I didn't have to raise them all ... |

Nothing deeper than the love of a child, for or from.

Nothing deeper than the love of a child, for or from. I can not fathom when a parent loses a child .. nor do I ever want to. It's so unnatural for the child to go first. My mommy died at 54 and my grandma outlived her for like 20 years. It was so painful and lonely for her with out my mom because it was her only child. |

Aww that breaks my heart just thinking about. I am not ready for my mom to go anywhere anytime soon...
Okay I need to go sing happy songs now.... |

I was born/raised in Los Angeles and the beach/ocean was my second home. I moved back east and also saw the ocean (more rugged coast) regularly. Now I live in landlocked Colorado. I miss the ocean terribly. The haunting pics of lighthouses beconing light to the open sea .. the sounds of waves crashing on the rocks .. seagulls circling .. taste of salty air .. I MISS THE OCEAN If I don't get there soon I think I shall die .. ok not die .. but I WANNA hear, see, taste the depth of the ocean sooooooooon. What do you hunger in the depth of your soul for and can't embrace from where you are in life right now? ...A few more years.........just to get my babies grown. |

Yes getting ahead of ourselves with our longings is no good .. timing is everything.
We live in seasons .. one has to be content in the season they live in while letting the hope of the next season begin to stir in their hearts. |

Sweetie,,you NEED to come visit me Every day I wake and see the sea,,I feel I've been given a gift. I don't know what I would do if it was taken away. What I do know, is we are only given what we can handle and things happen for a reason. When I can remember that, there is nothing "missing" in my "core" Peace |
