Not easily ticked off but, when I do snap, I simply turn off the emotions like a lightswitch.
I just don't do the forgiveness or forgetting thing. |

It's a fact that everyone has a temper. It's attached to the "ego lobe". This is the part of the brain that also controls fear reaction.
We all have a built in series of buttons and triggers that once activated tells our "ego brain" how much to react. After I get upset, I usually sit back and watch how it effects my mind and body. This allows me (right or wrong) to see my egos pattern. mg |

I think a temper depends on what the state of mind is before you get irritated even more. It's a building thing for most I think. If you are having a great day...little things don't bother you. I you are having a bad day...it's a lot easier to get mad.

It depends. I usually don't get mad.
A girl here threatened me saying she would dump me like her last boyfriend adding, "so what do you think about that?" That lit my fuse right after reading it and I told her how what I thought... My neighbors complained about my music being too loud. I stayed externally calm the entire time. It was still upsetting. Being mad is an emotion that is rarely useful. Its better left untouched. |

I have a very long fuse, except when someone threatens or hurts a loved one, then it's non-existent.
