dont settle for less than your expectations in a relationship we all deserve what we are looking for not what we can have right now just because we are lonely.

I learned that understanding needs to go both ways. I was very understanding of his life style and busy schedule and he took it for granted.

dont settle for less than your expectations in a relationship we all deserve what we are looking for not what we can have right now just because we are lonely. not trying to mess with ya unreasonably here...but aren't "expectations" slightly unreasonable? I know it's your 1st post but PLEASE comment...just curious.

I learned how to punch back,,, I also learned how to walk away,, I learned that I really am a good person,,, I learned how to forgive, yet not forget... I learned that after all the Hell he put me through 25 years later we are friends,, Hmmmmmmmmmmm Go Figure

I've learned not to give up who I am or my life for someone's love. You end up losing everything - yourself, the parts of you that they fell in love with in the first place and, eventually, even the person you love. Also..."it was a mistake" & "ex's are crazy"
