I could. I'm starting to think that it's the only way to find someone whose ideals are similar enough.

It's just a big PITA because you have to plan everything around the church..it sucks up time and money like a vaccuum. I assume you're not a smoker then!

Well, I am a church goer and I have yet to have a man say to me "forget YOU" because of it. I'm a believer, I pray and I have great faith. To some MEN that is an enduring quality. To be fair, i dont think any guy would just out and say 'well the reason i'm not going to be with you is that you go to church! But then again, i doubt you would want to be with someone who had a problem with it. You're right! Spending time with anyone who doesn't share faith would not be something I would do. I feel I've done my time in spending time with non going church people......UGG I agree

yea, i'm kinda not getting that either. I think the parralell is that going to church wastes time and money or something, and smoking does to. Though so does food, and vacations. |

No. Evently it becames an issue. I don't belive in God, so how can I respect someone who in my opinion is basing thier life on religon? If they truly belive they will want a partner that shares at least basic belifs, or they will constantly be trying to "save" you.

i'd accept it if i felt love for the person anything is worth it if it feels right What if it were really serious, with marriage a mutual goal, but the other person would not marry you unless you joined the religion? Does that still qualify as worth it? |

I think you are alright too.
It could be a problem if different religious backgrounds or faiths couldn't be reconciled. |
