I don't want to offend not a soul here about this topic I only want to
state how I personal feel about picture posting. I believe that to post
my picture is like going up for sell on e-bay. You know you got that
rusty old car that you want to get rid of for some extra change. For one
I'd like to point out this one glaring fact that stick out in my simple
but complex mind of mine. Most people's profile states these words. I'm
looking for a caring, honest, a friendship, and this is a kicker I don't
want to be hurt. I believe a lot of profiles should read this Im shallow
and great looking and hey if I don't think you meet my standards you can
buzz off. If Im wrong about this I can accept this fact with out
problem. For I know there is life out side my one house. Oh what brings
this on Joe that makes you write such blunder? I was talking to a few
and they jumped up and down to see my picture. So as you can see I
posted a old one where I weighed a bit more then I liked and poof they
were gone. I wish all the best to everyone and know the Lord love's all

I have always felt that honesty is the best policy. So I posted a pic
that was as new as I have. It is from last October. 10-15-06 in fact
sitting right here at this computer.

To prove that I am who I say I am there are other pics posted too. I
posted all of them when I joined. Not all are as recent but what I
happened to have already on my computer.

I feel like if you are wanting to date or make friends online why would
you NOT post a recent or current picture in this kind of group? It
defeats the purpose of finding someone to be a friend, penpal, or
activity partner as people do want to know how someone looks. It's
human nature.

I have to go with he others on this one. I posted a pic when I signed up
to this site. And keep them updated almost once a week. They way I look
at is if a person does not like what they see then oh well. Not my
problem Let move on and deal with it. I am not going to pretend that I
am somebody that I am not. So post a pic. If they do not like what they
see then oh well. Plenty of more fish in the sea. I you get a few that
does not like what they see then oh well just wait for the one the does
like what they see. But I feel when you do sign up for a dating site you
are kinda selling yourself. But in a way that you do were you should not
be ashamed of who you are. That is just how a dating site works. You
make an add about yourself post a pic. of the "goods" and start looking
yourself. But I can tell by the way you post that you seem like a very
nice guy. So don't give up. Just forget about the people that have
ignored you and move on. Kinda tough some times but that is just the way
it works.

The way I see these site is the chance of meeting someone special in
here is againstyou soooo..why not come just to make some friends and say
hi to other people. When I see a photo it helps me visualize who I am
talking to..I like that. :)

If I knew the emails of some of those folks I would send more invites to
them. I am sure many would be interested in a nicer place to post and
chat. I just do not know how to communicate with most of them outside
of that site. I guess I could go in and send some emails but wonder if
they would go through as I tried to delete my account there.

I did try to post in the web talk group but my posts do not show up so
may be out of luck. I could try though...

Maybe you could invite some of them to here from there...

i love to post my pic's, i took mine last month i lost a littlw weight
since then, i really prefer if me and a women are talking on here i
wanna see what she look's like not just a blank pic.

I don't want my words misconstrued or twisted. The facts are plain to
see and I can prove with out a question this fact. That if I were to
post let's say for kicks Brad I'd get heaps of inquiring minds wanting
to know who I am. But Lets say I post Joe blob such as myself I get the
ho hum treatment. Think about this for a second you go to one of them
fast joints there on the wall you see a picture of this great looking
food. But when you get this food it looks and taste unlike what your
eye's thought it should be like. Hum Ho alright

I understand what your point is dontbeajo but it is much nicer to know
someone is interested in you as a person looks and all then to try to
make them like you and when they see you they quit talking to you I have
had it happen more than once so my pic is posted sometimes I will put
another up that is an animal or what ever but in my profile is my real
pic at all times that way if they still want to talk to me after seeing
what I really look like the conversation is so much better for now I
know they have seen me and are still interested not into the games so I
must be honest first before I can ask someone else to be.

Jo.. I agree alot with txs.. I like seeing who I'm talking too.. gives a
better mental image of the conversation.. I have my own pics in my
profile.. I've a few funny ones too.. but I truely believe that if you
DON'T have one posted.. you're trying to HIDE something.. hey.. you put
yourself OUT there by creating a profile.. well.. put yourself WAY out
there and put a FACE to your words.. after all.. beauty IS in the eye of
the beholder.. and you wouldn't buy a car SITE unSEEN wud you??

i agree with you about posting a pic they get to know a person found out
whats inside theres more there then a face don t worry about what people
say i know you and i know your a good person and good friend

I see nothing wrong with pic posting, and if a person doesn't want to
put there pic up hey thats cool to.

I think it's great to post a pic, it's nice to see who you're talking
to. I don't know if women do this but i came across a few men on some
sites that will say (let's say 55 years of age) and on their pics, they
don't look a day over 40. Do they actualy think that anybody beleive
they still look that way ?
