it seems like if you have a southern accent and you go anywhere in the north specially ny or mass, they automaticly think you rode the short bus and married your sister/aunt HEY!!!!!!! well, from an early age i was taught to take care of myself. i can cook for myself, grow my own food and know how to truley live off the land. and im wrong for what i do. im backwards and a hick. i guess if you try to be a good person your wrong no matter what you do Awww a good heart is never wrong to have. I taught my kids to cook and fend for themselves. As they were growing up we had horses the whole time Rodeo's and Playdays along with Roping ect.. was a big part of our lives. Yeah I had my reasons of being around that life style for it was a simple one hard at times but very rewarding also. It teaches kids what it is to care for another that relays on you. What taking care of and animal and the joys it can bring. Well plus it did not give them time to get in trouble they were to busy. To me a country simple life is were it is at. I would love to live in the country away from all the hustle and bustle and be called a Country Hick at least I would be where I'm happy. Don't ever let another bring your thoughts down from what you know is right!!

Nothing wrong with living in the country. I would love to live in the country. Very peaceful. Love living in small areas and love to drive seeing the open country. The country is where it's at.

is it so bad to be raised in a simple way, love your family, protect your friends, do anything to help you can, ask for nothing, and give your all in what you do? i thought that was what the country was founded on. but i guess i was wrong when i was raised. damn my upbringing in being a nice person. im such a horrible person. {{{{{ <<<<< Thumper >>>>>}}}}} I think you are a very fine person... please !!! Hey thumper, There isn't anything bad in the way you were raised. I was raised the same way. I'm definitely a country boy. I moved from Connecticut to Vermont to get away from the cities and the whole lifestyle. Enjoy the simple things in life. keep an honest life and help friends and neighbors...I can't see living life any other way.
