You know...
i was thinking about this thread... when i was out on my bicycle yesterday ... and i just have to say... that if it is, < just a piece of paper > why all the fuss & commotion...? just some contemplations along the way heck...the gays have been fighting .. for the right to get married for so long if it was all as bad as some people say it is... then why are these people struggling to be free... it's gotta be way more than money or laws ... I think there has to be lots of love & respect there and a desire to be formally & publically united as one many of us do believe that a true & just union needs to be & is only sanctified, when consecrated by God... under the covering of God, the realm of Holy Matrimony not only for the heterosexuals but for all of the gays & lesbians, too just some variations on a theme Love and light to all of you |

I have no qualms at all about people getting married. My qualm is with the Government being ANY part of it... |

i understand your feelings , Lil angel
and i don't appreciate all of the governments interference either and i hear that in Florida , the laws are such ... that some married couples have to divorce and then go ahead and just live together... just because they can't make it financially when they are formally & legally married ... excuse the expression... but that just plain sucks |

They were raised Christian...loved their church...but, one of them got sick and there some some loop hole in their medical that would only pay for cancer treatments if they were not married. They agonized over this...it was finally their children and grandchildren's tears that made the decision for them. |
