I'm getting the same thing, and it strikes me as a little strange. I prefer to think of it like they saw one of my forum posts and are just curious about the guy behind the post. Yeah, that's what I keep telling myself.... On the other hand, to be serious for about two seconds, I have run into a few cases where you really can't tell if a person is male or female just by the name and/or pic, and I have semi-inadvertently clicked on a couple of male profiles because of that....

I'm not a homophobe, I don't really care who looks at my profile. If they ask me if I'm gay, I just say... nope! Sorry buddy, "Go Fish!!" lol. I mean, if you are going to put your image and info about you in such a public forum, you kinda need to be ready for these things to go on.

or maybe people are checking peoples profiles to see how creepy/ugly they are. just a thought. Now i think its somewhat different with girls. girls judge eachother allll the time.
