Yeah, I'm a little choosier who I want to be 'friends' with here...or IM with, those things pop up out of the blue too.

Not really sure what the benefit of the friends list is for except quick access to send them an email or see if they are online.

But I genuinely like the people on my friends list and do consider them online friends, we have something in common and I do interact with them often for the most part.

My friends list is not a hot watch list of babes (well, ok a couple of them are babes!) or a collection.

I rarely accept friend invites other than from ppl I know from the forums...I don't get it either.

If you want friends go to myspace eh... Guys are not going to study your profile, the first instinct is this is a dating site. So simmer down and have a shot or some midol...

Then why not read the profile and send an opening email that starts a potential conversation?? A friends invite doesn't lead to anything more than seeing their picture on the list sometimes...how does that lead to interaction?
Just my opinion.

I don't "collect" friends. My "Friends" mean much to me.
