Actually, bashing or disagreement with the president is very American. Perhaps you have never seen or heard of Political Cartoonist. These types of "Cartoons" were very popular and depicted them in ways I don't think the current administration could handle. In fact it is this administration more then any I have witnessed that has tried to brainwash us into thinking that criticism is UN_ AMERICAN. That smacks of McCarthyism and a lame way to avoid dialog.

Yeah, there is a huge difference between respectfully disagreeing and bashing, the world would be a better place if more people knew that. Calling Bush an idiot, when he had the same grades at an Ivy league collage as Gore is ridiculous. Gore is a better public speaker...get over it. As the 9/11 commision showed, Bush gave the same evidence to the Congress and Senate as he had. The government was agreed and voted for war. Two months later, the Democrats started to complain. If they had complained immediately, their complaints would have been genuine. They waited two months, because by that time it was looking like we wouldn't find the WMDs. Anyways, sorry for the rant. I agree with you completely.

It is your opinion yes, but just as the saying goes everyone has one. You have the right to your opinion. You do not however have the right to singularly choose to demean or belittle another human being with your opinion.

Because it offends? no. If it offends someone they can go elsewhere. Its when someone starts attacking another person, or ridiculing them, etc. that it changes to unacceptable behavior.

There is a difference between hate and defiance. I hate no one but am embarassed by my current president. Don't get me wrong I have stories from all sides of the war, but the war shouldn't have started in the first place. The economy is drowning out at this point in time because of money spent on causes that don't circulate money back into the economy (Myanmar hurricane victims, numerous other over-sea tragedies) in hindsight not a bad cause, but in the longrun it is causing the countries large debt. I'm tired of my freedoms being taken in the interest of fighting "terrorism", my freedom of speech is attacked because I express a genuine concern for that. I'm tired of religion deciding the next set of laws I will follow because they donated the largest amount of money to the president. I'm tired of there being such a large gap between the poor and the wealthy, moreso I'm tired of seeing the numerous people I see that starve everyday in the United States' own backyard. I also get annoyed when people that speak out against their government get called "America haters", if anything they are more American.
