i love the idea of what this country is supposed to be and used to be, but were turnin more into a commercialist economy everyday, the rich get richer the poor get poorer and **** on.

humanity takes a backseat to profit explode

Yep, greed is good. Look all the drugs being peddled at us for example, nevermind the side effects they bring.

Speaking out about what's wrong with this country is your privilege. Bashing someone's character, calling names, and pointing fingers is childish and disrespectful. You can disagree with anything you want, but until you stand in someones shoes for a day, defimation of character isn't right. You can't run this country, most people couldn't, I would never attempt to even say I could because I know I couldn't deal with the stress alone. I totally respect your opinions but, I don't need a history lesson, I can read.

it's personal from new orleans, yaya, and i'll tell you what really happened, and what one phone call could have done in an e-mail some time if you want to hear. i'll warn you though, it's really bad, and they all knew what was happening, and they let it happen on purpose...three of my friends died because of their.....it's unreal, i'll just tell you that for now.
p.s. it will open your eyes forever, and make you look at everything differently.....you decide.

I think what happened with Katrina was terrible. I was so mad about the delay. I know alot could've been done to help save a lot of people. I'm not saying bad things don't happen, because they do. There are people in our country who are corrupt and selfish no doubt. On a positive note, which the media hardly shows, I saw Americans helping other Americans. That's what makes this country great. I guess I am to patriotic ohwell I just try and do whatever small thing I can to help. In that instance, I donated blood and sent money to funds.

your money went to the suits my friend, not to the people, and i can tell you things that would astonish you. i understand about loving your country, and i look for pow's voluntarily, for my dad was one in a long forgotten war, but after all these years, i care about them, not the govt. that's just big business, with landscape painters to cover the real dealings....including, why i have to look in my spare time with no funding but my own....shameful.

Whether I could or any of us could is beside the point, the fact of the matter is what I am saying can be backed up. I'm not just blowing smoke here, this is reality.

I love my country because I can openly say, THE GOVERNMENT SUCKS!

In fact I hate all elections, because no matter who I vote for, the government always wins!

Yep, it doesn't matter who we vote for in the end, because they'll just put in who they want anyway.

and what was it last year when they found out that either a certain one or multiple amputee centers for iraq soldiers were ****ing disgusting mold unkempt and not fit for a hobo to camp out in to get out of the rain lol

Not to mention the income tax, which we don't even have to pay by law. There's nothing on the books requiring us to pay it, though they'd like to make you think otherwise.
