I think that if You are dating someone that could be a son or daughter to You, it might be too much of an age difference. Not to say it dosn't happen or can't work ,just uncommon.

i think it depends on the person and what they think....my father was 20 years older than my mother. he was a saint of a man and they were madly in love. he was very handsome and she was very beautiful. he treated her like gold. he passed when i was only 10 months old, but i heard the stories and all....my step father whom i adored was 17 years older than my mother and he too was awesome!

it really depends if you like each other or not. my ex is 49 years old, geographical distance kept us a part, not age...

My last girlfriend who I was with for 8 years was 15 years older. Age is psychological. 20 years is not that much considering the world has been here for several billion. We are all lucky to be alive at the same time.

i agree that age is like that, now I wouldn't date a female that younger than me, because she'd only be 5! but i've been developing a thing for older women lately, especially at my job lol.

if a person 35 - 40 dates somebody 20 years older ,should be old enough to handle it. if not they are too young . i am 54 , i date women from 40 - 65
