Hey I moved outta my Exs house after 7 1/2 years...but he was an abusive a$$hole so I had no problem doing it..but you can always talk to someone..or go get really $****faced..which is what I did as well 
Well Just keep your chin up girl...it will all work out for you..I had to have family with me when I did though..to much stuff to move and it wasn't safe for me by myself with his temper..but I wish you the best..and you can always mail me if you want to chat..I know how you feel  (((huggs)))

why did you wait so long to move out b/c abuse doesn't happen over night, it is a gradual thing! you should never question a women's judgement for taking so long, you should applaud her to taking a stand and moving out. It will be painfull, but as time go by, it will get better. Try to stop communication with him, and soon you will see that he is a thing of the past. If you can't get away from him, because you feel you love him too much, then reflect on this: is the love you have for him worth your pain? If the answer is no, then walk away. Email if you need moral support.

Give yourself time to say goodbye to the past and permission to embrace the future. It's hard letting go sometimes and if you start feeling bad about it remind yourself why you broke up to begin with. Go hang out with your friends they will help you through...talk it out don't bottle it up...a load shared is a load divided.

I found the adjustment easier when I realized how much less stress I had to deal with. It felt so good!

less stress, less worry, less walking on egg shells.... it is tough letting go to the 'good' times, but after you are out of the environment and have time to reflect on everything you will realize that you are strong and you don't even have to deal with that again! Just trust your instincts in future relationships, look for red flags, know that you are strong all on your own and don't need anyone. And you will find yourself again! |
