My ex said it here while back and all I could say was thank you.

To state your love is a expression of your feelings towards another person. If the words are not returned to you, does it negate the original statement? If you are saying "I love you" with the hope or expectation of hearing it back perhaps you are expressing your need for love more than you are actually saying "I love you" "Love seeketh not its own" I ao agree! It's be like giving someone a present and expecting a present of equal value in return.... |

Have you ever said I love you with no reply? How about hearing someone loved you but not replying? Talk about awkward moments. I can only imagine as it hasn't happened to me thankfully. I've never said it first - I wait for the guy to share I have been told it without feeling mutual about it. Yes. VERY uncomfortable and awkward. |

Ya, what do you say when someone tells you they love you and the feelings not reciprocated?
"wanna play darts?" "how bout them red sox?" "did you want a reply?" I'm curious,,what DO you say? |

You tell them you appreciate their honesty, but you don't feel you're at a point in the relationship, where you can respond positively.
You then change your phone number! |
