Is anybody following the Phoenix probe landing at Mar's North Pole this evening? As of 7:30 pm EST, it is on schedule to land and begin it's investigation into whether any primitive life ever existed in the permafrost.

Wait wait, it is 7 minutes to touchdown. I'm confused. They keep reporting different things. Now they are saying this happened 16 minutes ago. Ahhh!!!

Parachute did deploy! Now we just need the separation of the parachute and the jets to fire. Then finally the landing.

There was absolutely no slip ups in the whole operation. The radar was confirmed to be working. Now it just needs to open up and begin transmitting.
