Yes I did and surprisingly it was good enough to get published in a compilation.

I've written a lot of poetry, but not to someone specific...other than my mother for Mother's Day.

Yes and it usually goes something like this:

The day we first met, I do no regret
you helped me out, when my cheques bounced
right then and there I knew it was love
and I'd give you my heart every last ounce
you never got angry when i mooched all your food
or slept in late while you were out working
you never did complain and that's what i loved best
well that, and when you gave hand-jerkings
it didn't take long for me to open up
but it took you even less, and i call that true romance
i think i'll go cash my welfare cheques tomorrow
maybe after a few drinks, i can get in your pants
i'll never leave you, unless i find someone richer
but don't get too too worried
i'm in no hurry
i just wanna be with you, until the day that i die
or at least until yer bank account runs dry

Nope, I've never fallen for someone hard enough to do so. I do enjoy trying to write poetry though, so IF one were to move me in that way, I would certainly write them poetry.
