so i just saw this profile of a GIRL who says no guys under 5'10, no this no that and some of it was resonable but the thing that gets me is the 5'10 thing! i understand that people have preferances but damn thats as bad as me putting no fat chicks on my profile... but wait iam a man if i did that id be called an asshole and all other kind of things. what do you all think about gender double standers in general.

i dont think there is anything wrong with saying what you want. its all about wording it nicely.

so what if people call you names for stating your requirements, it is your life. People who have a issue with other peoples requirements are usually just pissy because they don't meet them. Big deal, everyone has requirements, it is better to list them upfront imho

It is possible that the reason behind it is that she is a little on the tall side and would prefer a man that is taller than she is.
I am 5'7" and I prefer men at least 6 ft, simply because that makes them the right height to lay my head against their chest when we are dancing. Also, I can wear heels if I want to and not feel like I am towering over my date. |

Where does it say that you can't specify that? I have seen guys specify what hair color they want or how long the hair should be. You can specify whatever you want, no matter how shallow it may be. Women will perceive you the same way you are perceiving the woman you are talking about. I don't see what the problem is. |

Where does it say that you can't specify that? I have seen guys specify what hair color they want or how long the hair should be. You can specify whatever you want, no matter how shallow it may be. Women will perceive you the same way you are perceiving the woman you are talking about. I don't see what the problem is. hmmm well you have a point but why would anyone wantto be percieved that way as shallow? maybe iam to nice or crazy or something lol |
