Topic: The "Good Friend" | |
---|---|
When you have a friend who is seemingly happy in his/her new relationship, do you support and encourage them, or do you regularly try to find "faults" with the relationship, perhaps out of jealousy, insecurity of losing a friend, or even control issues?
What kind of friend are you? |

A true friend is one that offers their advice when asked does not quickly find fault in your decisions and is there to help dust you off when you fall.

Im very supportive, and hopefully if i find someone my friends will be the same way.

i'm thinking a true friend could only be supportive; a friend that acts out of jealousy or control seems to have an alterior motive. i say be supportive for their good fortune!

The kind of "friend" who tries to pick apart the budding relationship is not a false friend..one who has their own agenda and does not really care what is best for you. They are jealous of the other party and want to divert your attention back to themselves. No one needs a friend like that.
