In the news "DARWIN, Australia - An Australian man has been fined after buckling in a case of beer with a seat belt but leaving a 5-year-old child to sit on the car’s floor, police said Tuesday. Constable Wayne Burnett said he was “shocked and appalled” when he pulled over the unregistered car Friday in the central Australian town of Alice Springs. The 30-can beer case was strapped in between two adults sitting in the back seat of the car. The child was also in back, but on the car’s floor." The bad part is I have laughed sinse I read it. What is really bad this is not the only incident of this happening just lately here in around the Dallas area a Police Officer pulled a lady over that had her beer in the front seat strapped in and her small child was in the back seat without a seatbelt. Sad to know we care more about our Beer then we do our kids.

That's only marginally worse than What I saw on http://www.thesmokinggun.com . A woman once got caught with a case of budweiser belted in and her kids weren't. It sorta screams jerry springer single wide jr high school dropout, if you ask me.
