Have you ever noticed he's never mentioned when you ask someone who's their favorite president? I find that a little odd. Just a thought.

I've never asked enough people who their favorite president is, to notice FDR seriously lacking popularity in that regard...

So who is your favorite president?

I'd have to say Washington. FDR is a close second.

nobody mentions him because he fought an "illegal" war in the atlantic with the german uboats before we were officially at war witht he germans. They also don't mention him because he started the downward spiral of our great republic with the chicken in every pot, car in every garage mentality. The great beginning of Gov reinforced socialism in this country. Oh, and let's not forget about the whole "allowing pearl harbor to happen"

i doubt that there will ever be another great president

the media will not let it happen

no matter how much good they do

the media will concentrate on the bad

Like that awesome story about the young soldier who was killed in combat shortly after he called his parents trying to get soccer balls sent over there for the kids. So now people donate the balls, write the young soldiers name on each ball and they go to kids in the warzone... dang, I can't find the story or remember the soldiers name... Someone help me on this one!

I remember the story so vividly and can't remember that hero's name. Man, I suck right now.

I liked Reagan, he had his faults, but he was very good with diplomacy.

Jefferson, Washington, the founders, I liked those guys too.

(CBS) All over the quiet town of Wilton there are monuments to the memory of Nick Madaras.

"This is Nick's garden," said Bill Madaras, Nick's father. "There's something flowering in here all the year long."

But his greatest legacy could be the hope he brought to the children of Iraq, reports CBS News' Russ Mitchell.
