I just got back from a car vs motorcycle accident. both Motorcycle occupants were severely injured. The girl passenger will probably not make it. Neither of them had helmets on.
I know there are a lot of states that have no helmet laws, but........... Please wear one if you ride a motorcycle. Half her scalp was gone and she had an open skull fracture. After we got to the hospital, we found out she had pelvic fractures which were just obliterated. They ended up flying her out by helicopter to a trauma hospital, but the doc says she probably will not make it. The driver of the bike had multiple fractures all over his body but will live. The only thing he may not be able to live with is the loss of his WIFE. We all look for that love and then take it for granted that it will always be there. PROTECT WHAT YOU HAVE CONTROL OVER!! I have ridden motorcycles since I was 5 years old and have always worn a helmet. This is why, not because theyre comfortable, or it's cool, but because they save lives. If she had a helmet on, she would probably be getting some fracture set and not hanging onto her life by a fuse. Ok, I'm done ranting now.... So, how is everyones nite going!??

one reson why i will NEVER ride on a motorbike....no matter what !!!!!! geesh...poor family......my thoughts are with them....

 Thats so sad. I havent ridden on a motorcycle since I was a teenager.

I am glad Faithful! We all are having a good nite! "in comparison" I guess. So, everyone hug yourselves and say. I dont have it so bad! lol

The ironic thing about it is.... It's bike week down here in myrtle Beach and this will be one of about 1-12 bike deaths we will have over the next week

exactly...when we're all thinking we're having a bad day at work etc...just think of the millions out there that are just barely even scrapping by, literally....someone's always got it worse than us....

Hearing about things like that make me want to go to each of my kids, hug them and tell them how much I love them.
