My Mom was always a great detective when I was a kid and busted me every single time when I lied.....have a hard time even telling a white lie now....other than somthing like, "Yes, you look really nice."

I don't lie, I just stretch the truth to fit my story.

I dont pull big lies...anymore, I have a bad poker face. Live & learn...sometimes the truth hurts but its better then getting caught up in a lie.

'No officer, I was not speeding.'
absolutely no guilt |

My boss once told me not to let my office know that he was making cut backs, and a member of my staff asked point blank...I gave the "NO" I was supposed to and couldn't sleep that night thinking about it. The next day, I took her to lunch and confided the truth. She was on the list to be let go and she was a single mom of three. I'm glad I came clean, because she was able to start her job search earlier and had a good one by the time she was let go.
I got away with it with the others but felt horrible and told my boss I would quit before I did it again so don't tell me next time. |

seems like such an odd question for your very first post. And why is that? |

Well, the other day I was in a chat room, and I had a pic of the Russian singing group, t.a.t.u as my avatar and a guy asked me who they were, so I told him they were my daughters. Then I showed him my pic. And he still believed me.
However, tricking someone with obviously limited intelligence can't really be considered a skill, can it? |

seems like such an odd question for your very first post. And why is that? Most people ask for information on the site, or introduce themselves in the welcome new members area. They don't start out by asking for confessions. Just an observation. |
