What's with it? I've noticed this from a few people who have slept over? Do you sleep with a light on? If so why?

I sleep with a dim light on, or crack the curtain if there's a lamp outside. I do it because I live in a different hotel, apartment or condo at least every other month and I've woken up in the middle of the night before not remembering where the devil I am and it freaks me out sometimes.

Just sometimes...I'll fall asleep with it on. Sometimes I leave it on when I feel lonely, too. Feels more like taking a 'nap' with it on and less like 'sleeping alone'...

Hummm I have the tv on and keep a light on in the bathroom. I'm not stumbling to the bathroom if I wake up during the night lmao
But I don't keep a light on in my bedroom. |

What's with it? I've noticed this from a few people who have slept over? Do you sleep with a light on? If so why? Any light makes it too hard to sleep. But the t.v. is a bit different. Turn it down low and the flickering light behind the eyelids is a bit like a camp fire. |

I have a night light in my room because i have a habit of waking up from nightmares and it helps to figure out where i'm at when i first wake.

I don't mind either way. I've always slept with the lights off and that's what I prefer.
