I'm doing that now, and I'm definitely NOT happy. So I'm going to go with a resounding "NO!"

I look forward to the day when I am making more than I'm spending, I can get out of debt and have some savings (other than the cursory saving account I my bank requires, which is really just overdraft safety for me). |

I have never known financial security (except maybe when I was a kid....no worries, no problems....Mom and Dad took care of everything).... but in my adult life like now I live paycheck to paycheck. To be honest I am happier but just wishful thinking to have maybe a few nicer things.

No. Financial security is much better than paycheck to paycheck... It's really not a happy way to live. Unless I was being forced to do something really aweful, I couldn't give up great money to "live a dream" like being a starving artist.

I guess that's why I never moved to Nashville to become a country star.

I might be close to making that decision really soon.

Financial security to live paycheck to paycheck if you knew you'd be a lot happier that way? Money means nothing to me. Well, as long as I have enough for my Pepsi and Pop-Tarts.... |

Whether you choose to live paycheck-by-paycheck or have financial security... you are only going to be as happy as you can mentally imagine yourself being happy.

  Smile :). That's step 1. |
