I just love it when RespectfulNed comes along to share his special breed of utopian myopathy. I find it completely unnecessary to watch "Leave it to Beaver" afterward as life is grand.
Allow me to share a little secret. I love women. They are better than men. They should be worshipped and allowed to make all decisions so that relationship equilibrium is completely tipped in their favor. God Willing, men everywhere shall supplicate in immediate fashion. I mean, who wants a relationship which consists of equal partnership when the woman can run EVERYTHING!! SWEET |

With the "looking for a man to make me happy" one, I think it just means that they are looking for someone that evokes happiness from them, meaning when they are with that person they are happy. I don't think they mean they want a man to do all the work and force them or "make" them happy.

Sir!! The gall! The unmitigated gall!! To post such a SEXIST, NON-FEMINIST, NEANDERTHAL thread! Let me DECONSTRUCT and ENLIGHTEN you, point by point! 1) "Prince Charming" is just a metaphor for the man each woman is waiting for. The man who is OBEDIENT, DUTIFUL, and ATTENTIVE. This is what EVERY WOMAN has the right to expect! And it is our duty as men to fulfill this role for whichever WONDERFUL LADY decides to grace us with her time. 2) It is your job as a man to make a woman happy! For once, put down your cave man club and fulfill your responsibilities! 3) This is where I really take issue with you. Not all men are alike. Some of us are SENSITIVE, EMOTIONALLY OPEN, and VULNERABLE! (That would be me) Others are grunting cave-men (That would be you). WAKE UP AND SMELL THE FEMINISM! OOOOOOMMMMMGGGGG |

I think this is appropriate for this topic for some reason (it goes with his #3 anyway...:
Michael Scott: And, even though we're still a family here at Dunder-Mifflin, families grow. And, at some point, the daddy can't take a bath with the kids anymore. I am upper management, and it would be inappropriate for me to take a bath with Pam, as much as I might want to. Pam: He said WHAT? [Pam is an employee if his. She's in her twenties and not a kid, sorry I didn't make that clear ] |
