many of us build these walls around our hearts.. keeping everyone out.. we have been hurt before, and the walls.. if we keep everyone at bay.. we can protect ourselves.. adn wont get hurt again!?!?!?!?
right1?!?!?!?!?!?!? my thoughts on this.. has anyone ever played the computer game the Sims? well in the one where you build themthe houses.. there is this oddthing that you can do.. you can aucutualy take one family member.. and wall them inside a box.. no windows..no doors..just a box.. this will protect them from the outside!! it will keep them SAFE!! will keep everything that can harm them out!!!! but do you know what happens to this person?? they die.. to keep themselves safe from getting hurt fro the outside.. they still die!!! jsut a thought... |

Youre absolutely right izzie. Whether we let love in or block it we still die in the end. Love is a choice!

We all do this, mostly as a way to protect ourselves from getting hurt.
What I have found is that people usually know when they have broken the wall down and wait to pull their usual crap until after they have been accepted and embraced. So the question in my mind is do you personally let the wall down early or late in the relationship? |

I want someone who will build an archway arbor thingy into mine. Keep me safe but not stuck inside, with a wonderful view.

That's why my walled-in wall has a slot large enough for a liter of Mountain Dew and a large pizza. That way, I won't die! |
