Topic: Drug test | |
---|---|
Just reading along here.....I think one point is this guy doesn't do pot on a regular basis, am I right about that? And THEN found out a drug test was coming up? Appears he is afraid it will be positive over something done that is out of the norm for him. Is cheating on the test honest or not? so, basically, lying and cheating is OK if it gets you what you want? And you should be able to do what ever you want and not have to pay any consequences? Am I understanding this correctly? My question is, then - where does it end? Is it ok to rob a bank if you want money? See where I am going with this? |

Cheating on a drug test because you like to have a hoot on your days off is just another requirement of employment. Honest or not is really irrellevant. Nobody should have the right to "test" you for things like drinking or somking pot on your days off. On the job is different and will be quite evident as will be any other drug abuse such as crack, meth or heroine, but it's not likely they would hold their job for long anyway. Dishonest...yeah, but sometimes a necessary thing. Same as saying "those pants don't make you look fat" Ultimately it will cause the work performance to go down. You get high on Sunday night? Chances are your worthless to me Monday morning... |

I had to do a random drug screening the other day..he failed and I fired him..on the spot. I am a drug free workplace and wont tolerate that crap...period Whats more important? A job or getting high? Jobs are hard to come by right now, especially good paying ones! Drug users are losers and of course your including alcohol in that too.. right? its a drug too... do I dare bring up the prescription drug issue? Drugs are bad right? |

I know of someone who needs a pre-employment drug test. This person is considering cheating on this test. My opinion is that this would show a lack of integrity. I am curious to hear your opinions. O really who might that be ? so you know them personally huh ? wow... sounds like a BIG FAT LIE TOO ME ....LMAO @ U and you cant even get the storie right he has the job its a random test and hes been their for friggin ten years ... omg yeah he should just have his family starve and loose their home over some stupid mistake ... GET A LIFE >>> He was gonna go to work but then he got high It was his choice. these are his consequences. Why does it upset you so much if it is not you? And why do I not have a right to an opinion on this? oh you are the drama queen ... I could careless what you think ... I have two jobs neither drug test and I will always stand up for my friends ... lmfao @ you again ... You are the one ranting. I am just stating an opinion of an action. You are personally attacking me because you don't like what I say. I think you are the one with the problem, sweetie. you started a post on me and my friends problem ... before real... |

That would be "illegal" drugs Prescriptions are tolerated as long as prescribed by a Doctor in writing, AND if it causes to reduce your work performance because of whatever prescription your on you will be placed on Medical leave |

I wanted to see if I was that out of it for considering cheating on a drug test to be wrong. That is my right in a public forum; I made no reference to your thread. You did. |

What they do in their spare time is none of my concern, but when I have someone falling asleep at their desk, my customers are not getting helped as they should, phones are not getting answered, the list goes on..that then affects MY paycheck...Then we have a BIG problem...All because they wanted to get high the night before? Not go to sleep until 3am becuase they were wired on something? Not going to happen...Your fired and I will find someone responsible with better work ethic |

Would you still fire them when they came in tired? |
