format your hardrive and then reinstall the OS you want to use...warning, make sure to back up your files before you do this because everything will be wiped out after you format the drive.

There a site that would walk you through it, if not tell you what to do.

I think in MS-DOS there's a key-combination that you enter to delete the entire disk... I think it's C:\*/ I"m not sure though. To open up MS-DOS hit the windows key + R. Then type CMD and hit "run".

Go to command prompt (cmd) make sure your in your harddrive where x is the drive letter x:\fdisk

Should clear the whole drive, reformat if you wish.

Yes. You can actually have more than two. I currently have a dual boot set up with XP Home/Vista Ultimate (64)

what os are you trying to install, this does make a difference...

Xp/2000 insert the cd and when prompted to do so press any key this will install the os reformating the old on.

ME and earlier, must make a "Boot" disk which if you have a os this old, sigh i guess let me know happy
