Waking on Saturday mornings to my mother singing while she hung laundry on the line. The scent of Mimosa tree blossoms and honeysuckle would drift in through my bedroom window. There's never been a time in my life when the world has felt so right. I still wake up smelling those Saturday mornings sometimes. Ahhh!
