There is a trial that just began for a 28 year old male that is accused of murder of a 4 month old baby.

If this guy is guilty I think he should be immediatly taken out back and shot point blank. When a child is harmed in any manner it angers me to the core. Our judicial system sucks when it comes to matters such as this. Put him to death! (if guilty)

This is a tough one for me to call, the verdict of guilty or not guilty depends on the job performance of either the DA or Prosecutor. IMO

I'm in total agreement. Bullets are cheap. Children ae gifts from God and should be treated as such.

I think killing him right away is not the right thing to do. He needs to suffer for a few days. Pull his finger nails out. Cut off a toe or two. Rip off his nose. Put a toothpick in his eye.......suffering is the only solution for baby killers.

That was just really sad for the child. It is just a reminder how easy it is to become parents for some people; but it is just a title only. What is even more sad is that she can just keep having kids, although they will be taken away.

I agree people are very lucky to be alive. This woman sounds like one of them. Women very rarely get the death penalty. The guy? We can only hope.

Im in total agreement if he is found guilty he should face the Death Penilty it deserves him right for killing one most innocent lives on this planet.

Regarding another thread (and some know what I'm talking about)- people that deal drugs hurt children too. The child is harmed when drugs destroy the family. The child is harmed when there is no food in the house because the money was given to the dealer.

My problem with the death penalty is if he is found guilty and sentenced to death he'll be what.....48,50 years old when he dies ? I agree with oldsage...dont torture him because then we would be no better, but he needs to die immediatly not live another 20+ years on death row. When it comes harming babies and children I get so pissed off I can easily take justice into my own hands. The woman looks as if she closed her eyes to the torture of her own baby. Shes just as guilty as him. I also agree with Lilith..she can just keep having kids and that outrages me too!

............................I am not familiar w/the story...but from the jest of things that all are saying, my one thought is...as a society that still reacts towards children as property the despicable behavior of child endangerment will continue w/o EDUCATION : children are given to us stickly as one older soul being in-trusted to be a custodian for a soul in a younger body....we do not own them we are to teach , protect and nurture them into adulthood where as we relinquish our custodial position for one of patriarchal and matriarchal ad-visors and friends...the notion that people, our mothers -fathers-sisters-brothers-husbands-wives-boyfriends-girlfriends-babies-children-any human being can be owned has plagued this planet since the dawn of time....we are at all times no more no less than spiritual/physical custodians of each other......fear and ignorence kills...all ages....

I think you hit the nail Wicked. They treat crime against kids about the same as crime against animals. Either way, it is crime against the defenseless. Which is horrible. Makes me mad I think part of the attitude also stems from the idea that people can always have another baby to replace one lost. Which is just a sick attitude if you ask me.
