Not that I need speak here as it appears that Princess handled it, but...your daughter's day, make it that way, keep it that way, and make it the best damn day possible.

My daughter was a swimmer when she was younger. Her dad never came to any of her swim meets; but when she made it to State Championships when she was 10, I BEGGED him to come. He agreed and then made up some crap excuse at the last minute.

I sat there and watched her win a ribbon at State Championships by myself; and I know she was really hurt that he couldn't find the time to see her swim.

I never had to say a bad word about him to her, ever. She figured it all out on her own.

I can relate to that story Hiker. There is alot to the relationship that I have not posted, history-past, he never came to one pageant, or soccer game, football game when she was a jr. cheerleader, nothing, but as soon as someone would say to him, I saw your daughter in the Christmas parade and she is beautiful, then at that moment that is his daughter, otherwise he dont mention her. Like I said though, I know that she sees these things, and she is mature for her age, and I dont have to say one negative thing about him, he will get what is coming to him eventually, with or without my help. He has a higher power to answer to for his wrongs in his life!!!
