I am going to build a deck for my beach house. The deck I have now is just to small. The few women that have been on my deck thought is was cute but I could tell they thought it was to small. My neighbor has a big deck and most of the people that come to visit me end up on his deck because its bigger. He's never said anything but I'm sure he laughs at the size of my deck compared to his. So tell me, what sort of deck would you prefer?

I don't think it's the SIZE of the DECK that matters. More important is how THICK is the WOOD you are using.
