In the last month-ish, when I've been out to the bar, two different girls asked if I had a business card. Both of them came up to me, so I don't think it was a "How can I get this guy away from me quickly" type move.
I never take them when I go out-n-about because I thought it was rather cheesy, to be honest. Edit*** - Just in case it's not clear, I'm soliciting opinions on the topic. |

I think they are handy because it saves you having to write all that stuff. It's all on there; add your home phone and e-mail and you are golden.
Plus, they can tell that you really have a job.

Yeah and the number they give you is the local dry cleaners.

Hmmmmmm Now I never worry about this, I could care less what kind of job he has or how much money he makes...All I want to know is if he has one and he can hold his own...I hate spending money and I do not want a man to take care of me...I can take care of myself!!

Edit*** - Just in case it's not clear, I'm soliciting opinions on the topic. ....I beg to differ...I hold on to them....I even called a guy who gave me his card4 his band 18- 22 mo. ago...he is in a small 3 pc. blues band....they play like small restaurants, sushi houses....just had a hankering for some blues @ a smaller venue....he remembered me and we had a nice visit....not my type, but hey he broadened his fan base....never say never....  ~wicked~

i have business cards, they are nice real nice, but i don't pass them out, this is my company i represent, if a lady wants my number i will use a sharpie and write it on their stomach lol
