There were lies. In my city people hang banners from highway overpasses and more. The banners say, "Impeach Bush" and "Put Cheney in Jail". so why didn't they? maybe those in congress etc knew more than we did? I don't know yellowrose. I see that it is frustrating people. The signs and banners are getting more frequent. There are people protesting here. |

At the time, I think Bush's support was at 87%! The country had just been attacked (9/11) and America was eager, willing, and ready to kick ass first, ask questions later! There were very few that stopped to think, but most Americans just (Baaaaaaaaa) followed Bush! They weren't worried, very few actually knew someone in the military at the time, And, it wasn't a significant threat to our military! Bush ,,,,, The Neo-cons, its not just one man, had a clean path to walk into Iraq and do what they wanted! A little lie here, another one there, and BAM!!!!!!! Instant sheeple support!!!

Ahhh, now I remember. (I just woke up from a nap.) I remember....the people's blood boiling after 9/11. People wanting hope. Then I remember the lies started unraveling. I remember the outrage of the people over the handling of Hurricane Katrina too. |

America was demoralized. Between Watergate and the Vietnam war America was morally shocked! Why not wait til their out of office. Bring criminal charges against them and in the meantime, contain the damage he is able to do to a minimum! Of course if the Republicans get in office it will be very difficult to gather enough evidence against them.. Not impossible, but hard nonetheless. and then, no doubt, the new Pres will pardon them! |

ok...i know there are laws to prevent an absolute ruler. maybe congress should have stepped up if he was a criminal. I know many people that supported the war as much as didn't supprt it.
my sister is like day and night with me on politics and she finds this insane. she can't stand Bush but wouldn't place all the blame on one man |

A year ago,I said that! But my position soon changed! No, I believe they are doing right, soon Bush will be gone and we will start a new chapter I only hope it is a better chapter! Reality says, things will get much worse before they get better!!
What to do? When there is no focus or unity. The majority want change they all agree! They just disagree on the path! Some go to Ron Paul Some to obama or Hillary??? (To help make history, I guess.) Some to John Edwards, or Mitt Romney! Now, we are left with three choices, and not the best of choices, any way you look at it! Its sad, but things must get worse, and will, before they get better!!! (IMO) |
