Well the only reason i put Corn Snake is because there good for beginners and Green Snakes people tell me arent very Docile. They tell me the most Docile snakes are Corn Snakes, Garter Snakes, King Snakes and Ball Point Pyhons.

I had a corn snake. She was albino, so her colors were beautiful. kinda light purple with yellow patterns on her. She didn't bite. got her when she was really tiny and she never did bite. Just feed them. Leave them alone when they're shedding and you can just carry it around the rest of the time if you want. I named mine Libby, lol!! She was so tiny at first, I carried her in my top. She liked the body heat.

Never heard of a corn snake, but I have heard of the extremely virilent 'one eyed trouser snake' with a roll neck sweater and furry scarf.
These are generally known to only bite females, and have been known in some cases to cause unwanted swelling which normally vanishes after approximately 9 months. bigsmile

An old friend of mine had a burmese rock python, it was like 80 pounds. We used to take it for snake walks. Those were strange days indeed laugh

We used to hunt wild garter snakes in the summer when we were kids. One kid picks up a rock while the others blindly reach out for what's under it because they are so fast. They don't puncture skin usually, but they bite hard.
