Texting I'm not really a talker


Many people would agree with you and that's unfortunate in my opinion. There are many great advances thanks to technology but one of the disturbing trends is the reduction of personal communication. It's dehumanizing us to the point that conversation is becoming a lost art form.


I think I converse quite well thank you sir. I get what you are saying I just don't use my phone for that. If someone wants to talk to me I'm just a shout away.


Oh I know you do, that wasn't a dig at you - just something I've noticed with many people including my own offspring. They will text, email, or order online before making a phone call. Lots of millennials are the same way. Hell, they quit teaching cursive years ago so we've got an upcoming generation that can't write it or read it.
