i really feel for you and know how you feel i have had my mother chosse
men over me before and it is hurtful i would talk to your dad first and
he doesnt do anything talk to her so you can tell them later on you
tried talking to them and working things out before and they would not
listen

Thank you very much i have posted this one a few times of diferant sites
and have given it to several soldiers to have

I dream of a love that is never ending and all consuming but it eludes
me even in my dreams

Looking at you I wonder who it could be is there such a thing as the
right person

We all have our faults but just to be loved in return and to have one
person that can understand my needs and fill them seems like a fantasy
that will never happen



When I dream of my dream lover he knows me inside and out and
understands my needs

He does not mind holding me when I cry and understands how it can hurt
even when it is right

To know that one person can love you even when you are mad and can hold
you no matter what

To be able just to cuddle and watch a movie or listen to a song and know
there will be no fight about it

Going for walk in the woods or by the lake and to know you won't be
alone

A drive to the beach or by the docks and knowing that one person will
never be to busy for you



You get mad and fight and to never doubt that the one person will never
leave you and will work it out with you



To know you are loved so much in return and that one person will always
be with you and no one else can ever replace you



This all seems too much to ask of anyone so I guess it will always stay
just a fantasy

Knights in shining amour and Damsels in distress

Kings and Queens with there princes and princess

Is part of what makes up fairy tales



Then you have Unicorns and Pegasus, castles and dragons with there mass
intelligence yet they guard Damsels in distress all the time as if there
is nothing better to do



Why do we continue to feed tales of helpless women to our daughters.



I gave up my fairy tales a long time ago and came to the realizations
there are no knights in shining amour

And if there where ever any dragons they left right along with the
knights maybe they are all playing poker some where and laughing at the
fools reading the same fairy tales to there kids



Swinging in the wind letting the world fall around me and not giving a
care it is not princes that float throw my mind but a soldier in arms
that gives his life for me so that I may have my freedom to change my
life



Jumping and watching the clouds go farther away with the wind around my
body what matters is not what you think but I know I do not fall alone



If know one loves or cares then what does it matter if you die?



Our damsels are no longer princess in towers but our daughters in there
beds

Knights in shining amour are no longer Princes but soldiers in arms for
our freedom



Kings and Queens are now Moms and Dads



So do you care to know the rest



Then you need to know it is not rubies that buy your life and freedom It
is the blood of those that have cried many nights cause they knew they
would never see those that they loved them or died never knowing what
love can be like



Next time you lie down and look up looking at the stars and dream of
knowing love and you dream of your Knight in shining amour you need to
know today he is dressed in a bullet proof vest and carries a real
weapon so that you can dream your dreams.



Your Unicorn and Pegasus have turned in to jets and magic has always
just been science so open a book and read



There are still plenty of Dragons today but they are no longer
intelligent instead today we call them terrorist



There is no happily ever after no more it is more like amen I am alive



We still have our fire flies to watch as we stare up at the stars and
dream our dreams and I love to the thanks my soldiers that lay there
lives down for me every day these are not just men but women and yes I
love every one of them



To walk by one of our modern day castles you may never notice because
they are called military bases and are very guarded even in this day and
time



So when it is all said and done with you need to live every day to its
fullest you never know when your fairy tale is over but I know my will
end with
