"BEAUTY THEN THE BEAST"

What a beautiful woman, what a wonderful sight,long hair,lovely eyes,and teeth pearly white.
Such kissable lips and a delightful smile,I wish she were mine,if just for a while.
A nice slim figure,well dressed as well,all in all very attractive,but time will tell.
I"m very observant,and NEVER,been a drinker,always alert and a fantastical thinker.
At this very moment,I"ve no idea of my chances,but she"s noticed me giving her those starry-eyed glances.
She"s sat at the table just next to mine,with her two friends and drinking wine.
Three or four men have asked her to dance,she"s refused them all ,mustn"t like their looks or their stance.
Thats one mark she"s lost,for her lack of respect,it costs nothing to be polite,and accept.
It took some courage just to ask her to dance,and now they"r embarressed at taking the chance.
She"s been up dancing with her friends all night,and was soon drinking Baccardi and coke,now she"s TIGHT.
She"s accepted to dance with a big fat clot,the drinks he has bought her has cost him a lot.
She"s falling all over now cos. she"s DRUNK,she"s f-ing, and blinding ,and with the clot done a bunk.
Doesn"t want to know him anymore,left him standing on the floor..
My first impressions were such a delight,I even pondered love at first sight.
I never thought,to say the least, that radiant beauty would turn out a " BEAST ".

The time has gone when love was here
The days have gone when she was dear
The children played,and sang,and cried
The tears were felt by us both,and dried
The time has gone when love was here
Living alone now without any cheer.
Searching for dating isn"t my game
But I have to try it all the same.
Where is she? she"s out there I know
I hope she turns up before I"m called to go.

" ME " ( THE YESTERDAY MAN)


IS, living alone in a house where once there was a partner and kids.and eating at the table with empty chairs amidst.
IS, Cooking for yourself, so you have a sandwich instead,watching TV.till 4.00am then going to bed.
IS, Waking in the morning with no-one beside you,and gardening without the kids helping too.
IS, Ironing a shirt becomes a chore,and shopping for one when it used to be more.
IS, Washing up and having to dry as well,and hanging out washing and bringing it in after a rainy spell.
IS, Making a brew in a cup not a pot,and sitting around when the jobs to be done are a lot.
IS, Driving alone when theres seating for four,and bathing and showering without your loved one anymore.
IS, Being on your own most of the day and all of the night,and sleeping in a double bed when a single would suffice.
IS, Walking and listening to no footsteps but your own,and hoping that somebody wants to speak to you on the phone.
IS, Talking to your pets as though they were your children,and dreading Christmas coming around again.
IS, Christmas dinner with friends year after year,and remembering presents and cards from the kids were so dear.
IS, The kisses on the cheek from the kids ,you no longer get,and giving your love and affection now only to your pet.
IS, Drying your own tears over something thats sad,and wondering why your not going mad.
IS, Missing the love you got from your mate,and not having one night stands date after date.
IS, Not making love as often as you"d like to,and searching for happiness with a partner anew.
IS, Living in hope for true love the third time around,and praying that one day soon your new partner is found.

"I WISH", I could find the right woman for me,slim ,attractive,with a couple of kids and wants three.
"I WISH", she"d be honest,sincere,loving and straight,and look forward to meeting on our very first date.
"I WISH", she"d, not just like me for the way I look,but want me for being me,an open book.
"I WISH", her love and sex would be true,so true that the warmth I could feel burning through.
"I WISH", I"d make her happy ,and her me happy too,lots of kisses and affection night and day,and never blue.
"I WISH", she"d be grateful for the little things I do,like the brew in the morning,cooking,bathing the kids too.
"I WISH", she"d be pretty,nice hair ,eyes of blue,a nice slim figure and about five foot two.
"I WISH", she"d desire me every minute of the day,her love flow with a kiss,a touch,a smile,and when we play.
"I WISH",she"d be jealous.possessive,but yet,realise that I loved her from the first time we met.
"I WISH", she"d understand ,I don"t have money to burn ,and if I had it,I"d give it,and expect nothing in return.
"I WISH", misunderstandings,little arguements were forgotten in a jiff.not sit there for hours ,sulky faced and not speaking after a tiff.
"I WISH", there"d never be doubts for our love and affection,and not be upset or disappointed at each others imperfection.
"I WISH", our love would grow stronger every day,with every kiss,every smile,every touch,in every way.
"I WISH", I could find her "for till death do us part"and never again suffer a broken heart.
