Throughout the day,and most of the night,I search for a partner,a partner thats right

A partner thats right ,right for me alone,so we can love each other,and make a nest,a home.

I"ve joined numerous dating sites on the big internet,but still haven"t found my true soul-mate as yet.

I know from Dec.08 is not a long time,but when will I find her,when will she be mine.

I send little messages,with one of my poems I"ve patched,to the very pretty ladies ,who are not yet attached.

I can"t understand those just seeking fun,they"re fancy-free and single,why not look for their hun.

A lot of good time girls ,I"ve seen of late,why are they looking for a good time date.

Then theres the ,just for friends type,what do they really seek,a man to help with the decorating,and be run off his feet.

The ones that I can"t understand,are the ones who seek hang-out and looking for fun,Is sex on the agenda,at the end of the night,or do they say to you sorry ,your not mr.right.

They"ve had an expensive meal,after,cinema,nightclub,or pub,its cost you a fortune,but all you get is, bye, thanks for the grub.

Other relationship,do they also mean,be my friend,and take me out,spend loads of your money ,but if you touch me you"ll get a clout.

Long term relationship to me is the one,forget all the others ,and just having fun.

Its a partner they all want,for all the catagories you see,lets face it your single and fancy-free.

" ONCE UPON A TIME IN MANCHESTER "
( THE STORY OF MY LIFE SO FAR )



A long time ago, and during world war two,little Raymond was born,with big eyes of blue.

Elsie and Teds new baby boy,he was their second,bundle of joy.

It wasn"t long after,his blue eyes,turned green,this was something before,never seen.

Five years later he started school,he was never the one for acting the fool.

At twelve he moved house,to one with a bath,the old terraced,he came from,was nothing, but a laugh.

Three years later,and top of his class,got a job as a draughtsman,and all exams,did pass.

Passed his test,and got a motorbike,to go camping afar,but not long after,he was driving a car.

Met his beautiful girlfriend,whom he loved,and adored,they married,bought a new house,had five children,a Mech.Engineer now,and worked abroad.

She cheated on him, whilst working away,and on the second time,divorced her,on adultery,and sent her away.

All the children,went with her,and was left,on his own,but he always loved,the family life,not living alone.

At fifty one years,his second partner did meet,she was twenty,but to her,older men,were a treat,had three more children,so now its eight,what a feat.

But fourteen years later,it happened again,she cheated,kissed and loved,other men.

She told him,the loves,not there anymore,eventually left,took the children,and went out of the door.

He"s looking for a partner,again in his life,and if she"s young enough,to have children,this time,make her is wife.

His homes for a family,not living alone,and he hopes,he"ll soon have one,instead of being, on his own.

"EARLY DAYS"

When I was born I was a bundle of joy, my mum and dads favourite boy.
Kissed and cuddled all day long, but nightime was a different song.
Marvellous how all day I slept, but through the night just wept and wept.
The only way my mum could rest, was to let me hang there on her breast.
I know all this cos.I was told by dad, when I was just a slip of a lad.
I"ll always remember that first day at school,I was supposed to stay there not break the rule.
First chance I got on that very first day,I slipped out of the classroom and ran away.
All the way home , straight to mum, school to me just wasn"t fun.
I tried it again next day and succeeded,but the day after that ,gave in, I conceded.
My very first girlfriend lived next door but one,we played doctors and nurses but we shouldn"t have done.
She told her mum ,and her mum told mine, I got many a good hiding time after time.
I soon learnt that girls were different to me, even at five it was so plain to see.
My first sense of loss came at the age of seven, my pet puppy snowy had to go to heaven.
I took him that day to the P.D.S.A.,and came back without him ,crying all the way.
I cried many times during my seven years but yet, the grief for the loss of a loved one,I"d never forget.
Death"s what the called it, a new word I"d learnt,and when we all die , we are buried or burnt.
