Boredom in Married life.

You both have stopped the pursuit. Remember when you first met and you couldn't wait to see each other? Not to mention keep your hands off each other.
Relationships are like gardens, you have to plan and sow, weed , water, and enjoy the harvest. You have to sow into your marriage if you want to keep your partner interested and looking forward to the time you spend together. Its very easy to get into a routine with work, kids, car and home maintenance etc. I have been there so I can just tell you what I did. I told my wife one evening when I was frustrated with her hurry up Im tired that I felt like our relationship was very mechanical and lacked all the fun and excitement we used to have and she agreed. I started making an effort to plan "Sexy nights" which required making time for each other number one. We started by just relaxing and doing things for each other like a full body massage followed by a nice hot bath with music and cocktails. Intimacy is not just sex but spending time meeting each others needs. One night we went to a sex store together to just look at what kind of things were available and we had so much fun. Talked with some of the staff about different products and apparel and let me tell you what an education we got. Not everything was for us but we had some laughs and bought a couples game and some sexy apparel some massage oil and a couples toy to try. We found that just by making the time for us to enjoy each other and to try new things we rekindled that white hot feeling we each had when we were just getting started. We have gone onto weekend getaways at a nearby hotel or bed and breakfast just for a couple of nights or spend a night at a local glamp ground. She loves the things that I plan and I love the things she plans. Been rolling strong for 35 years. We still argue and have all the same distractions we always had but we both look forward to our sexy nights together and cant wait to see what the other has planned. Hope this gives someone inspiration Love and Peace be with you |
