Hi Folks! Its a good day! Last day of work for SIX Days! YEAH!

You are all cracking me up!
This started as a question to get 40+ people talking and to see what people call your dates these days. I love the sense of humor everyone adds to it. |

Hi Michelle,
As long as you came to an understanding on the introductions, that's great, no surprises. His request to curb the language is understandable since its a business affair for him. He knows the 'audience' If he is with you, he must care for you as you are, but the impression at a work event is important to him too. I'm sure you will both have a great time at both events. Edit - Michelle, has anyone told you you remind them of Bette Midler? Ihope you don't mind me saying that. I think she's a great person. |

LOL I like the ... "this is the one who puts up with me."
|
|

and it's funny the guys I date always refer to THEMSELVES as 'boyfriends' as well I guess it depends on the guy and the nature of the relationship on what is a comfortable way to introduce them. And... Great Pictures Fade2... I hope I look as good at 57. |

Yes I did andthe second was much bette ,, it kept getting better ,, That's great. If the person is nice, and there is an attraction, even if the first date goes lousy, I usually try for at least a 2nd date to see how it may go because everyone is nervous and maybe a little awkward on a first date. That's why I really try to get to know someone more before that first date. It helps avoid the awkwardness. |

I always introduce a man that I am on a date with as "my special friend" Some day I hope I will be able to introduce a special friend as "my Sweetheart" I've said, this is my sweetheart before too. That is much better than boyfriend to me at this age. The guy didn't like it much. I guess it depends on the guy and the relationship we have. |

Did you ever have a terrible first date, but still go on a second one because they were nice, only for it to be much better and work out for a while?
