I personally find it very offensive when someone dates me just because they want an interracial relationship. I don't want someone to date me because "they've never dated a black girl before" (and yes, I HAVE heard that one several times before believe it or not)I want them to date me because they like ME! not for the amount of melanin (or lack thereof)in my skin. So, with this said, you might be offending guys if you are telling them you are dating them because they are a different ethnicity than you. Also, if you tend to buy into an ethnic stereotype, you will typically only attract guys from that ethnic group. If you do find a guy outside your race, get ready to face some opposition. Not everyone is as open-minded as you are and may not lie seeing you with someone outside your race. Be prepared for stares, glares, mumbles as you walk by, and some elderly have the audacity to walk up and tell you to your face... but that's just because they are from a different generation.

The funny thing about that is my ex (who is still a dear friend)is a sponsored rifleman and has been proposed to several times by all military branches! He is a phenomenal shot and has quite the impressive gun collection. I'm sure he wouldn't mind fending some guys off for me!

So, I've been fortunate enough to meet a few guys from this site that live close enough to me to meet for coffee, dinner, etc... but I haven't really felt a connection with any of them (and I'm not looking for an instant in-love happy ending) and they won't stop calling.
