I've never been picked on at school (guess I'm lucky) but I found myself protecting the ones being picked on on a regular basis. Maybe that helped me from being picked on?

I like that answer. I still wonder why it feels like being mature takes out the fun of being, as in, why isn't it ok to remain childish at times. Or is there an option to be mature and young at heart...

I've never been nudged, but I think options should be there to be turned on and off. So I agree.

I never understood what 'mature' means. To me it's a horrible word. Can somebody please explain what 'mature' is? Or even better, what is 'mature' according to you?

It depends, sometimes I'm like: 'thank god'. If there's something interesting about that person I'll just ask why. I like to learn ;)

Even though my profile says different, friendship is what I'm here for. I'm going to change it on my profile to stop the confusion.
And friendship has no sexe. So men and women. If you're ok we can talk. |

There's nothing in the OP about someone going for the ocasional night out. I don't care what the "general thought" is. If the question is, "Is it alright to have a night off ocasionally?" then it's a dull and uninteresting topic. The question is about going out and drinking when you have kids. What's "overdoing" it? What's acceptable and how much of a "life" is a mother with responsibilities entitled to? Is it alright for her to take drugs? If not, how's that worse than getting drunk? Hmm questions, questions. I feel one's overdoing it when (parental) responsibilities move to 2nd place and partying is moving to the 1st spot. How much of a life? Just as much of a life as any other person on this globe. I mean, how much of a life is a man with children entitled to? If all is well the burden of raising children is shared between a father and a mother right? If not... well I guess something is wrong. To be honest. To me alcohol is simply legal drugs. So if you can do alcohol why not do something else. It's just the public opinion on 'other drugs' that will give you a label. |
