Good Morninggggggggg So, the apartment thing isn't going to work out with that apartment .. but one of my best friends wants to move out by June/July, so I suggested we just get a 2-bedroom apartment and split all of the costs ... and she loves the idea!!!! She is getting a car this weekend, so if her car loan goes through, she said we can start looking at the end of February!!! That sounds great Ash. Sounds fun) With both of you being a little older, as opposed to being fresh 18 yr. olds, it should work. There are some things I'll warn you about tho. Sometimes friends aren't as responsible as you are in paying bills/rent. It takes a lot of time to get adjusted to paying all that money each month; so have some money set aside for relocation if needed, just in case you need your own space afterall...or just money to be a cushion as you get adjusted. I've seen living together ruin friendships probably 70% of the time..but two good responsible people can usually stick it out. And true friendships will always find a way to make amends afterwards anyway.. ;p I know you didn't ask for it, but you're my friend and I've been there; so just wanted to put my two cents in for you) Morning Wolfie!! |

Awe.. Deb) I like it! I think living without that causes unnecessary stress on our lives. If we'd just recognize how to handle temptation when it comes up against us and remember Who is there to hold our hands, pick us up if we fall, there's no need to stress (worry, fear, etc..)!
You remind me of the Biblical Deborah, female judge who spoke kind words. |

I quit halfway thru my cardio( I have to go back to it, lol.. Was my New Year's resolution--10 min. high rate cardio every morning. I didn't get of to a good start b/c I was sick over the holidays, and then Twilight and other interests schemed together against me in a period of procrastination.. But I beat them out. I chose Jan. 21st to be my new Jan. 1st.. and I'm determined..
See you all in a bit! |

I dated a guy two years ago who wasn't introduced to my kids for about 6 weeks. I would offer up tidbits of information about what was going on with them, but we mainly just did the "us" thing for a while.
After he met them, he was nice to them.. But the real shocker was after 6 mos. of dating, when he would be at my house in the afternoons frequently and he would instruct the kids to hang their backpacks up, help with homework, or go find something interesting outside to do with them. And even a year after we decided things wouldn't work for us, he still remembered their birthdays and brought gifts out. Kids have a way of growing on guys, but I think they need a little time sometimes.. Especially if they haven't had them yet. And sometimes the kid relationship can work to your advantage--places you in motherly light, which, if they don't have any of their own, they might see what they've been missing and want to be a part of it) |

30 degrees in the am, 60 in the afternoon. We get snow maybe once a year, if we're lucky. No earthquakes, no floods, no volcanos, no hurricanes.. It's life in psuedo-utopia! Snow is for ski trips. Over-population is for perverts. And being over-worked is for people who should probably be admitted to a psyc ward somewhere. Relaxin' is what we do here in the South. 4-wheeler ridin', huntin', fishin' and eatin' grandma's cookin'.. Life IS truly good)
