That's a chance you take when signing up on any dating site, you're tossed into a pool with lots of other people, most of which aren't close to you and you're not guaranteed a perfect match by any means. My suggestion, since you only want local people and you're not finding any on here, is to go out in your community and meet people there. If you're a religious person, go to church (or even if you're not a religious person, there are a lot of non-religious people lurking at church for the same reason) join some sort of community activity, go to a coffee shop, a bookstore, go take a class in something that interests you, anything to meet other people. If you live in Philadelphia, you're not isolated by any means, there are guys where you are, you just have to put yourself out there and meet them.
It's fine to use a dating site as backup, but to use it as your only means of meeting a potential husband isn't practical at all. Good luck to you.

There are plenty, but they may not be good looking enough, have enough money, or be willing to let a women control him for companionship. Seems like that's a deal breaker in most cases, but you can cry on their shoulder till the next douche comes along ;) Which is a perfect example of why "nice guys" are stupid and useless; if you know you're only being used until something better comes along it's your own fault for letting it happen. We're all responsible for how we let other people treat us. Personally, I think a lot of men do that stupid **** intentionally, knowing what's going to happen, just so they have something to ***** about later.... |

Unfortunately, not many want to commit anymore. I've come to the conclusion, that sex with a guy, is better than nothing. I'll be lucky if I ever find another commited kind of man. It's all self-fullfilling now. True, every guy I talk to is a man whore with dubious taste in women, so you have the right idea, at least you won't get your heart broken.

It's not about me perceiving it, it's how it is. I seriously doubt that calling up the bill collector and telling him/her how much you love them will make a difference, they want their money. Ergo, love is not everything, because it doesn't fulfill or take care of everything.
