The Colorado Rockies were an American professional ice hockey team in the National Hockey League (NHL) that played in Denver, Colorado, from 1976 to 1982. They were a relocation of the Kansas City Scouts, a 1974 expansion team. The franchise moved to East Rutherford, New Jersey, in 1982 and was renamed the New Jersey Devils. The NHL would not return to Denver until the Quebec Nordiques moved there to become the Colorado Avalanche following the 1994–95 season. I vaguely remember the Rockies. You guys had Don Cherry as coach and Lanny McDonald as your star player. Too bad it didn't work the first time round'. The Avalance or Av's had some great teams. Pat Roy in goal.Joe Sakic, Peter Forsberg. Patrick Roy is the new coach of the Av's. I saw him freak out at LA's coach, Bruce Boudreau a couple of night's ago. 
Some good young talent in Denver right now. Duchesne is a real good player.  |

trust me i know the feeling I'm right in the middle of a roof repair And it rained before my roof could dry good So now i'm hoping for a day or two of sunshine But it dusted snow all around me last night so... 
Colorado is pretty cold in the winter too !

I remember when I lived with my parent's, we had a family of racoons living in the attic. We didn't even hear them until the guy doing our inspection had told us they made a real mess up there. Probably ripped us off.
I know in Colorado they get some snow. I've seen them on the rocky mountains in pics. Bet you guys don't get sub zero temps like we do in Winter. It can get close to minus 40 up here in Winter.

Thanks! I hope you do as well! Hope things are going well in Texas. We had a nice Summer and Fall here in Ontario, Canada. It's gonna be a lot colder real soon though. 
That's when I wish I could escape to the south or southwest USA.
