I finally get to!!

 So on the 28th of this month I get to head my way down to Alabama to visit a friend of mine from basic training! We were medically discharged together and haven't seen each other since the beginning of June. We've been talking about it for months and now I finally have the money to go, so we figured out a week that would work for the both of us. I can't wait to see her!

This is from a book by Neil Clark Warren, PHD, he was the founder of eHarmony.com He states "It is crucial to clarify your image of the person to whom you wish to be atttracted to". He then lists 10 dimensions "that are important to consider while formulating the image of you ideal spouse." 1. Personality 2. Intelligence 3. Appearance 4. Ambition 5. Chemistry 6. Spirituality 7. Character 8. Creativity 9. Parenting 10.Authenticity In the book he tells the reader that they need to put the 10 dimensions in order of importance for themselves (each person will have different items they consider important). Yes, I would and have dated myself quite a few times. Not only am I an interesting person, I`m easily entertained, a perfect gentleman, and I never try to get into my pants till after the 10th date or the 10th beer whichever happens first.

We use online dating? One of my "friends", who is no longer, and who I only knew online, ignored me for a long time. And finally I got through to her for some honesty and closure, and she just told me I was a freak for having a crush on her and never even seeing her, and that it was pathetic and i was a loser. I politely responded that I don't care what someone looks like I liked you for your personality/interests...But that doesn't matter really, to her or to anyone but myself. I know who I am and I don't need her to tell me what I am or am not, only I know. That said...How pathetic is it? How much of a loser freak am I for having a crush on someone I considered a friend that I had never seen?\ Or was she just the outlier and online dating has become pretty normal in the current times? Just forget you know her. She doesn't deserve your friendship. Just find someonelse. I am available... you can start with me...
