filling out fafsa Make sure you give the school plenty of time to lose it at least twice. No joke, my sister-in-law and I have both gone rounds with our respective colleges over it. I've been unemployed long enough that procrastination just leads to boredom. House is clean, taxes are done. . . |

It really does depend on the situation; if its something I have time to think about I usually will.
However, if it's an emergency, all bets are off. I jumped in for a kid one time fully clothed, complete with a radio on my belt. The sad part is that the lifeguard on duty was right behind yelling, "Angie, I've got it!" In my mind, I knew I could have stopped and let my guard get him, but I went for any way. |

I prefer to be respected, but as Gypsy pointed out, when dealing with teenagers it sometimes requires both.

There are 2 that I know of in my area.
One is a concert that I believe is already sold out. The other (I already have my ticket) is a party cruise on Lake Washington (I think). |

Are you referring to the one in my kitchen or the one in my garage with the big padlock on it? ![]() Let's start with the one in the garage. Some beer? A little herb perchance? A government experiment? No, that's where I hide the bodies. Shhh, don't tell anybody. ![]() |

I've seen a fair amount of complaining lately about the lack of thought provoking threads that exsist on Mingle any more. For better or worse, that's what Prisoner has created. We've even had the chance to use our big vocabulary and discuss things like Id and Ego. |

Because I spent almost all of my 20s in a relationship with a complete jerk. Translation = my standards are A LOT higher now and at almost 30 years old - I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to dating.
There, I said it. |

KELLOGS IS NOT WRONG FOR DOING WHAT THEY DID, PHELPS IS WRONG FOR DOING WHAT HE DID. WHEN DID WE BECOME A PEOPLE WHO REWARD THOSE WHO DO THE WRONG THING???? IF ANYTHING, I AM GOING TO BUY MORE KELLOGS PRODUCTS, BECAUSE THAY TOOK A STAND AGAINST THIS. PHELPS, NEEDS TO HOPE & PRAY THAT THE OLYMPIC COMMITTEE DOES NOT TAKE HIS METALS AWAY FROM HIM. I don't think that he should have his medals pulled, pot is not a performance enhancing drug. The whole incident is about image, which is why he was hired as a spokesperson to begin with. Kellogs is simply trying to protect their image and they are perfectly within their rights not to renew his contract. We all do stupid stuff when we are young (gotta love those college years), but as public figure he needs to be more aware of his surroundings in those types of situations. A lesson I'm sure he has learned. PS: Most high school varisty swimmers can swim an under water 50, its not that unheard of. |

I am another one of those people who will not respond to an email unless it is well written, more than 2 words, intelligent, and shows that they have actually looked at my profile.
There have just been too many times when I have replied only to have the other person remain quiet and never say anything interesting, or they immediately jump to "Hey baby, what are you wearing?" After repeated attempts of trying to politely turn him down I have to get mean to get my point across. Then, I get that one last tirade about how rude I am. Sorry, but its just easier to not respond in the first place. |
