Well I decided after reading a reply that Lex had left in a thread, that I will start this thread in hopes that both me and Lex can make some headway on Pepsi or Mountain Dew hooking us up.

As some of you know, Pepsi and Mountain Dew are soda's...two of the best soda's as well. Both come in a diet and caffeine free form, so everyone and anyone can enjoy these God's gift to man.

Mountain Dew has been hit with a number of myths, and of course the biggest one...decrease sperm count, one of the main reasons I drink it like it is holy water is because I could eliminate the risk of me having children (horrible it would be). Pepsi of course is a rival with the evil Coke, Pepsi however has a better syrup versus carbonated water formula that makes it the better of the two (unless you are into Ginger Ale with a slight cola flavoring).

Lex, feel free to take the floor.smokin

That went over like a lead balloon. Thank your lucky stars you didn't chuck it off a 6 story building. EPIC FAIL.

Only failure I've seen consistant in these forums is your worthless replies.

Mtn Dew either does not decrease potency or I am Moby ****.laugh
Sired kids after years of guzzling Dew--and that was before it became tin-canned nasty. I still use it for the caffeine jolt, but if you want real Dew with the hillbilly shooting the revenoor on the bottle, that's worth the effort.

And Pepsi is flat worthless, IMO.
Coke is "passable" on ice.

Waste of time, don't you think? This thread is about how these two are better, and you post they are worthless.

Dew is the God among soda's, Pepsi is second place...end game.smokin

Back in high school I'd call a Mt Dew and a Snickers bar breakfast.

People don't realize that "Pepsi" was actually the original Babylonian word for "nectar of the gods."

And it's easy to see why no one knows this, since nobody remembers any of the Babylonian gods anymore, anyway, seeing as how they were all relegated to common animalhood (most of them were turned into antelopes or gibbons or something) shortly after some war.

Also, Pepsico is notoriously adverse to admitting any link between itself and ancient blasphemous questionable deities, which is why you never see Molech in any of their commercials (although he's available; his Nike spots have done better than expected).

My personal favorite, which no longer exists, was Vanilla Pepsi -- as is usually the case, once a manufacturer discovers that I like something, they usually discontinue it. But I like regular Pepsi and Cherry Pepsi and Lime Pepsi and whatever else is out there -- I have even mixed Pepsi with Fanta Pineapple (Pineapple Pepsi) and Faygo Peach (Peach Pepsi) -- experimental things that served some purpose I no longer remember.

I like Mountain Dew, too, especially that blue one -- although the one I reaaly liked was that Pitch Black (Mountain Dew with grape) they had in 2005 or so, and then stopped making after I bought too much of it.

I only drink Caffeine Free Pepsi but I will drink Mountain Dew if my Pepsi is not available.

Here's something interesting. When I first moved here to Marion Virginia, I was told that this was where Mountain Dew was invented. And every summer they hold a festival called "Mountain Dew Days". The town swears by this fact, but every now and then someone will try to dispute it.

Either one of you know any real facts about this?

Knoxville, Tennessee is where Mountain Dew was invented as far as I know.

I loved the Pitch Black version as well, but apparently much like yourself Lex...I bought far too much of it.

That stuff was fantastic. But anything I like tends to disappear from the shelves forever....

They brought it back last year for a limited time again, I bought that stuff off the shelves when it returned. Was only available I think for 4 cases before they decided I was buying far too much of it...

They stopped making Vanilla Pepsi about 4 minutes after I was officially addicted to it....
