Kurt Vonnegut said that we aren't taking away anything from ourselves when we show respect to the lowliest because that is a human being and for that reason, that he is a human being. Yes, that is a picture of me and cameras don't lie.
But I don't know what happiness is and am afraid to try.

I chose unwisely a long time ago and now I'm jaded.
When I was young and lovely I gave him my soul and heart.
He took those gifts and trampled them and he did that from the start.
These three things I wanted: friendship, affection and respect.
